A bit of candy!

Am finally sitting down to up date the blog!! I have been busy creating samples for QVC which are all christmas themed and last weekend we were down south having fun with family. It wasn't planned but these guys flew over my brothers house on the Sunday! It was AWESOME! The CCSR challenge went live on Friday morning and the challenge was to make a card using 1 item form the CCSR and NO white! I used the WRMK Nonsense papers and my silhouette (which I have working after having a wee blonde moment with it!)
Excitment is reaching all time highs around the globe as the Rusty Pickle Racers are receiving their boxes of delights for the race. There is a page on facebook if you would like to follow the ladies racing! The chefs are really looking forward to seeing all the creations. It's hard to believe that it was nearly 2 years ago that I ran the race admist boxes of our 'lives' as we had just moved into the house.
So to the blog candy!! I have a lovely package of goodies here that were sent to me by Rusty Pickle for one you!! It has all this School Daze in it! Wowzers!! Perfect for teachers gifts ;)12 sheets of paper, stickers, card coupons, chipboard alphabet and button pack

If you would like to be in for a chance to win this then leave me a comment by midnight on Wednesday letting me know that you would make for a teacher. The random generator will choose a winner on Thursday for me!
Till later
xx

hiya stranger
the red arrows are just fab - haven't seen them in years.
am so jealous of you with that Silhouette, maybe I should put it on my list for Santa lol
I've had to be on the ball this year with teachers cards as the kids finish up this Friday cos we're away on holiday, but I would use this pack to make their xmas gifts (I only give them gifts at xmas, not at end of year)
And I spotted a fabulous desk set and sticker jar in this months Craft Stamper that would be just brilliant to make for the teachers.

Glad to see the Silhouette is finally out of the box! Would love to be in your draw - this would be my 1st bit of Rusty Pickle! I think I would make the teachers a big decorated jar full of reward stickers.

hiya! : )
Great card, love how the flower continues off the card too! I would make an altered journal for my French teacher, she's got a great style and I think rusty pickle reflects that!
I'd give it to her when we get our exam results in early august!

Hi Beckie, it would surely have to have something to do with apples? I just love anything to do with trees in scrapbooking so would most likely do a lovey canvas with a tree and some delicious apples hanging on there, then there are toffee apples too if no time for scrapping...mmm...yummy. A possible title for the canvas could be you are the apple of my eye or is that a bit of overkill? Not sure, but it would be something along those lines, Tiff :o)

Hi Beckie,

The Red Arrows are very fab, and they'll have a girly pilot next season too :-)

For a teacher, it would have to be an apple. I'd make a big card the shape of an apple, covered with the green paper at the bottom in your picture (maybe with a little patch of red chalking), and then cover it with clear embossing powder to make it a nice shiny apple :-) Then all it would need is a stalk, and an oval sticker with the greeting, and maybe a union jack just like the real thing!

Bye for now

Amanda

Hi. I am Heidi's daughter Tayla. I saw your blog and I love the photo of the planes with the pink and purple smoke coming out of them.I go to air shows and I like seeing the different planes. I especially like the pink spray coming out of the planes. I also love the card you made. I love the flowers and how they clash with everything else that is shown on the card.
