Schools Out For Summer!

A huge cheer could be heard at the school as the bell rang out to signal the beginning of the summer holiday. I had two smiley girls come and greet me with the carrier bags overflowing with paper from their trays!
As with every other year I left it to the last minute to make the presents for the girls teachers. I try and give them something a little bit different and after talking with the girls we came up with these wee pen pots


The school has been really big this year in being eco friendly sorecycling an old food can seemed perfect! My DD who is on the eco commitee seemed pleased with the decision!! LOL!!
These are little journal blocks mounted on to a coffee stirrer, the girls wrote on the back of them.


Again I rummaged in my pizza box filled with the left overs of MLS papers that I have.Today I was at Craftworld in Glasgow and had a fabby and busy demo showing off all the new products from Do Crafts and there is loads! I am loving the Summer Bloom collection filled with all things that remind me of summer, including a pair of wellie boots!
The lady who designs the Nikki and Friends stamps was there too and she had some amazing samples with her and I would have loved to have had a play with some of the tools and stamps she had.
