especially in the craft departments!! I can spend the same amount of time Ooohing and Arrhing over the latest craft products as some ladies do over a pair of shoes or handbag.
I received the new Born To Shop Nostalgia collection to work with for the new Do Crafts Creativity! magazine, which is now available. The characters are fun and the quotes give you a giggle each time you read them but I really like the colour palette of this collection. This card is made by using just the papers and embellishments.
Products : Born To Shop Nostalgia A4 Paper Pack, Born To Shop Nostalgia Epoxy Buttons, Born To Shop Nostalgia Epoxy Brads, Born To Shop Nostalgia Glitter Stickers, Xcut Mini Pinking Scissors, Bare Basics Raffia
The central circle was made by cutting two 2" strips of paper which I cut from the A4 paper pack. Next I scored them every 1/4 of an inch and them zig zag folded them along the score lines. I then joined them together to create a circle (wh
ich looks more like a bangle). Then gently flatten it and secure in place at the back with a small piece of paper and tacky glue.
The nice things about the characters on the paper too are that you can create a card in less than 5 mins by simply cutting out the character, adhering it to a card blank and adding a few gems and voila!!
This card is similar to the one I made for the magazine and uses the stamps from the set and the smooch accent inks which I love!!!
Products : Born To Shop Nostalgia A4 Paper Pack, Born To Shop Nostalgia Clear Stamps, Born To Shop Nostalgia Fabric Buttons, Born To Shop Nostalgia Glitter Stickers, Xcut Paper Crimper, Anitas Ribbon, Papermanina Large Petals, Smooch Accent Inks
Well today I am on a shopping mission but I will be stopping in to have a starbucks gingerbread latte, so I'd better get moving!!
Enjoy your day!
