A while back I posted some pictures of the butterflies we had lovingly grown in our house. When it came to releasing them into the wild the girls wanted a picture of them and rather than leave them on the computer I scrapped them for Take A Template in the Creativity! magazine. I used the Papermania Oriental papers as they looked perfect with the butterflies.
I also create a little mannequin with the papers too for the magazine. The A4 and A5 paper packs have some sheets that have the gold foil on and are just beautiful! I love making little things like this and the challenge of doing them. The top of my piano is getting filled with crafty makes!
The fan was made using the stamp set and then folding it into mountain and valley folds before adhering it to the dolls hand. The gold charms down the front of the dress can be found in the collection too. The gold flowers are from the peel of sheets which are really delicate and finish off your projects with a touch of glam.
For the hair I used some of the bare basics brown raffia and wrapped around the dolls head. A small ball of raffia was added to the top to create a 'bun'. I then cut then ends off a match stick and adhere it to the back of the head and finishing with some small flowers cut from the paper and some peel offs.
Hope you are having a crafty day!
