Weekend Friends!

I have lost count of the times these little stuffed toys have come home with my DD's. We have had Mumbles, Zoom, Strawy and Rupert, each one bringing to our home excitement from the kids as they had to write in the diary about the adventures they had together! My question was why did my girls always get them at the weekend! I actually found it much more amusing to send the wee toys on an adventure of their own as I watched them spinning around in the washing machine!
So let me introduce you to Rupert who came in to our home last summer and was promptly sent to the land of the big silver whirl pool before the real weekend adventure began.


My youngest took him everywhere with her that weekend, with the reminders of 'Have you got Rupert' echoing in each of our stops. I took this photo of them both up in the Trossachs National Park chilling out by a wee loch (though I would have called it a large pond!).I went to print it out a while ago and unfortunatly I was having problems with my printer and it printed it really dark. I threw it in my photo box and thought that I may just use it at some point.
Today during my lunch break I grabbed for some more of my left overs of My Little Shoe box papers, white coredinations gemstones and the photo and created this :


Even though the picture is still quite dark the white background has lifted it slightly. It just shows that ppor print jobs can be turned into something .... so don't throw those ones that aren't perfect away!
