Mixing It Up

One of the nice things about crafting today is that we can see a collection we love, go to a store and purchase all the items in it and then go home and create our masterpieces. It's perfect knowing that we don't have to spend ages rummaging though papers trying to see what coordinates with what!
My Little Shoebox's collection are just the same and I love getting my assignments where I use the whole of one collection to create. BUT .... I also love to mix and match, and mix and match I did when I created this card for my DT submission to My Little Shoebox (I thought I had already shown it but hadn't!)

The collections used are City By The Bay, Cute as a Button and Green. The little houses in City by the Bay are just perfect for creating wee little villages and team them with the little girls from Cute as a Button you can make a welcoming card.
I actually used a circular card from Do Crafts to make the base of the card. I just chopped on the bottom edge (not the one with the fold!!) so it would stand flat.
I also have a little peak to show you of what I have created for the MLS Heartfelt blog hop this Friday!

Hope you can join in the fun!
Thanks for stopping by
xx
