Adventure Is Worthwhile In Itself!

This Christmas or should that be last Christmas?? You know the one just past, well hubby and I decided that this year we would make each others gifts. I was intrigued to see what he made me after he kept disappearing in to my craft room and rummaging through the draws. On Christmas day I opened up a beautiful picture with lots of photos of our time together, it now sits in the lounge for me to see everyday.
I wanted to make him a picture which he could take to work and see everyday. Working in outdoor education I knew exactly which pictures I would choose to fit in with his office. Also while I was in the States at the Rusty Pickle retreat there was a sign in the chalet which said
'Adventure is worthwhile in itself '
I knew that this would be perfect too, so I set to work.
I used one of the ikea ribba frames and sprayed the backing with a mixture of glimmer mists and heidi swapps masks. I then built my layout using the Panama Jack papers from Rusty Pickle. The large alphabet from Rusty Pickle was perfect for the main title and I was able to use 6 x 4 pictures as my background was so huge! I love how it has turned out and so was the hubby! The only thing is that it is not at his office as it hangs by our front door and secretly I am glad it is still here!
I am busy creating for a couple of episodes of Creativity Club TV for Docrafts, which are looking great. They are on the Do Crafts website if you'd like to see them and there is now a jewelry video too!
Have a good day
xx
